Micah 6:8
"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."
Sometimes we spend so much time searching for God's will that we overlook the simplicity of His heart.
Micah 6:8 isn't a list of religious rituals. It's an invitation to a way of living.
Act justly.
Stand up for those who have no voice. Treat people fairly. Do what is right even when no one is watching.
Love mercy.
Not just show mercy—but love it. Be quick to forgive, slow to condemn, and eager to help. Mercy changes lives because mercy reminds people they are still worthy of love.
Walk humbly with God.
Humility isn't thinking less of yourself. It's remembering that every person you meet carries a story you cannot see. Humility listens before judging. It serves before seeking recognition.
This is what faith looks like when it leaves the walls of a church.
It becomes kindness.
It becomes compassion.
It becomes generosity.
It becomes hope.
Every smile offered to a stranger... Every meal shared with someone in need... Every hand extended to someone who has fallen...
These are not small things.
They are the fruit of a life rooted in love.
Today, choose one act of justice, one act of mercy, and one moment of humility.
You may never know how deeply that simple act will change another person's life.
