Love Loads is Held by Love’s community laundry assistance program, created to help individuals and families facing hardship access something many of us take for granted: clean clothes. Through laundromat partnerships, community sponsors, volunteers, churches, businesses, and caring neighbors, we help carry the load—one family, one wash, and one act of love at a time.
More Than Laundry
For many families and individuals struggling financially or experiencing homelessness, something as ordinary as washing clothes can become a luxury. Love Loads exists to make sure no one has to choose between clean clothes and another basic necessity.
A clean load of clothes can mean walking into a job interview with confidence. It can mean sending a child to school without embarrassment. It can mean feeling human again. At Held by Love, we believe dignity matters—and sometimes love looks like quarters, detergent, a washing machine, and someone willing to say, “We’ve got this load.”
How Love Loads Works
Love Loads brings a community together around one simple mission: helping our neighbors access clean clothes with dignity. Every laundromat partner, church, business, donor, volunteer, and act of kindness helps carry part of the load. Together, we turn an ordinary laundry day into a moment of relief, connection, and hope.
