Held by Love Is Headed to the Mic: Joining the Beck the VET Podcast September 5

Held by Love is preparing for a very special conversation, and we want our community to know a little more about the man behind the microphone before we get there.

On September 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM, Held by Love will join C.J. Beck for a recording of the Beck the VET Podcast. It is an opportunity to share the heart behind our work, the people we hope to serve, and what can happen when ordinary people decide that compassion should become action.

Who Is C.J. Beck?

C.J. Beck, known through the show as Beck the VET, is a retired military veteran and a member of Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Inc. His podcast grew from something deeply personal: the loss of family members and friends in 2023 and the realization that voices, memories and stories can disappear if no one takes the time to preserve them.

C.J. created Beck the VET Podcast as a place where people can listen, reflect and share the stories that shape their lives. He has described the show as part remembrance and part legacy — a way to preserve meaningful conversations for his children and grandchildren while giving other people a place to tell stories that deserve to be heard.

A Mission Built Around Service

What makes this invitation especially meaningful to us is that C.J.’s mission reaches beyond storytelling. He speaks openly about the values veterans carry long after the uniform comes off — discipline, leadership, service and responsibility to community — and his desire to encourage veterans to keep using those values through volunteering, mentoring and community engagement.

His show welcomes conversations about military service and veteran support, but it also reaches into nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, health, family, food, travel, sports, entertainment and the everyday experiences that connect people to one another. At the center of it all is authentic storytelling and tangible community impact.

That is one reason Held by Love feels so at home in this conversation. We may come from different stories, but the question underneath both missions is very similar: What are we going to do with what we have been given, and how can we use it to serve someone else?

What We Hope to Talk About

During our conversation with C.J., we hope to introduce listeners to the heart of Held by Love: dignity-centered community outreach and the belief that no single person or organization has to solve every problem in order to make a meaningful difference.

We will be able to talk about the programs and partnerships we are building, including efforts such as Safe Harbor and Love Loads, as well as the larger idea behind Held by Love — bringing churches, businesses, community organizations and neighbors together so that each of us can carry one piece of the burden.

Service does not always begin with having everything figured out. Sometimes it begins when one person simply decides, “I can help with this part.”

That is the story we want to carry into this interview — a story about compassion becoming practical, dignity being protected, and communities discovering that they already possess many of the pieces needed to help people through difficult seasons.

September 5 — Save the Date

The Beck the VET Podcast recording with Held by Love is scheduled for September 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM. This is the recording time rather than a public live broadcast, so there is nothing our followers need to register for at this stage.

As soon as C.J. provides the public listening or viewing information, we will share it across Held by Love so our community can join us when the episode becomes available.

Until then, we invite you to follow along, share the announcement and keep cheering on every new door that allows this message of service, dignity and love in action to travel a little farther.

We are grateful to C.J. Beck for making room at his microphone for the Held by Love story. We cannot wait for the conversation.
